Was it William who said,"The words he speaks are true- we're all just humanary stew?"

Ummm, not sure. But, upon googling, apparently Alice Cooper did:)

My sophomore year in high school, our lit class had to memorize and present Hotspur's soliloquy accounting to King Henry IV for his battlefield actions.

"My Liege, I did deny no prisoners. But I remember when the fight was done, breathless and faint, and leaning upon my sword..."

No mere recitation, we enunciated and projected. One student hyperventilated and fainted.

And I still think the tavern scene where Prince Hal and his buddies put the lie to Falstaff's exaggerations is a classic.

I played the Moonlighting version of Taming of the Shrew for my [high school] freshman son a few weeks back - he loved it.

Wow, who was your English teacher, Robin Williams circa "Captain, my captain?" Students just don't faint these days.
