As is true for David Archuleta, the 17 year old that sang his heart out all season on "American Idol". The guy can sing, however, I just couldn't get past those deep breaths that seemed to echo through the mic when he sang. Hopefully they can edit out the breaths over at Jive Records because they, according to MSN.com, gave him a record deal. Cook deserved the win, but I'm happy for Archuleta.

No big surprise there...he has a beautiful voice, hope he is successful...but I was rooting for David Cook, I think he's the "real deal".
