I made a Wal-Mart run with Baby Girl this morning...marshmallows, fruit and waffles were needed! It's not my favorite grocery store, however, going around 9a.m. isn't so bad. As we were walking in I saw a woman set her 12 pk. of DP's down on the pavement in order to pick up a penny. That's dedicated superstition. I, on the other hand, after grocery shopping for an hour, wouldn't stoop down to pick up a dollar bill. Call me crazy.

Amen (on walking!). Although, I will say that the "penny earned, penny saved" is a great activity for little kids @ WalMart -- keeps 'em busy! You'd think money on the ground was gold when my children find it too....cute. =)

Leaving walmart one day after getting a handful of pennies in change I scattered them along the others I had in my pocket across the parking lot thinking it would make a lot of peoples day as they were discovered. I looked back over my shoulder and there was a lady stooping over picking them all up as she walked behind me.
